As a multi-genre composer, sound designer and music editor, Billy continues to draw a wide variety of projects ranging from feature films to corporate logos. His experience scoring national commercials at the beginning of his career led him to diversify as an artist and produce numerous styles of music. Within five years out of college, Billy had composed and arranged for full orchestras, won both CLIO and AICP Awards for excellence in advertising music, and also scored his first feature film.
Billy has collaborated with many prominent directors including David Fincher, Michael Bay, Janusz Kaminski and Zack Snyder, and has worked for such companies as Lionsgate, Microsoft, Believe Media, Devastudios and Lucasfilm.
His score for the Lionsgate Logo, performed by the Seattle Symphony, was released with the film The Hunger Games - Catching Fire, and earned him a Mobius Award and a HMMA Award nomination.
The Earth Communications Office (ECO) chose Billy to score Hidden City, which was translated into 13 languages and released in theaters and on television worldwide. He was honored to be selected as composer following ECO's critically acclaimed production The Power of One, composed by Hans Zimmer.
Billy's wide range of experience in music production and scoring has earned him invitations to speak on panels at UCLA and his alma mater Syracuse University.
